Cheese with my whine?

Today I was a fuss bucket. I whined for 6 hours straight! No reason, just felt like being cranky today.

I am sitting up so well on my own. I can sit up for minutes at a time.

I love to play with my toes!

Mommy bought something for work today called Suicide Pie...boy did it look good. Mommy's a fuddy duddy because she wouldn't let me eat any.

Daddy came home last night (he had to go to SJ). I sure was mad at him at first. But, I can't be mad at Daddy for too long. He rocked me to sleep, and I kept peeking to make sure he was still there. And, he was.

I have also learned to say "mum". When I am hungry or when I get mad at being in my car seat, all I have to do is say "mum mam" and Mommy appears.

I love playing with toys and paper! They are the two coolest things (better than the ceiling fan!)

I saw my Uncle Russ and his family again last Sunday for football. I sure like that game! Uncle Russ got a new puppy (who's actually pretty cool). Grandma wasn't watching and I sampled a bit of her beer. Mommy caught me and scolded Grandma to be more careful!

And...I like sweet potatoes! Mommy says I can try something called Squash tonight. Hmm, sounds intriging.

Blowing Raspberries

This weekend, my uncle Russ adopted a dog! I can't wait to meet him. He's a boxer puppy named RJ. Me? Well, I'm hanging out having a good time. Daddy has been spending a lot more time with me these past few nights (he tells me all about football). I love my Daddy...he makes me laugh! Especially when he's hard to wake up in the morning (it's Mommy's and my joke to watch him fight waking up!)

I have a new baseball mitt...too cool, Grandpa, thanks! Now, if only I could figure out what I'm supposed to do with it other than chew on it. Still working that one out.

I am back to blowing raspberries again (see the above picture), and I am laughing a lot more now. And, my new favorite thing is talking really loud (especially at 4 AM)!

Green Beans?!

I've tasted Green Beans! It's very sloppy. It's okay, however I prefer chocolate, I think!

My top teeth are really bugging me. I can't wait until they break through. Neither can mommy.

Another fun weekend!!!

Grandma took mommy out of the house on Saturday and we did some window shopping. I don't know why they called it that, I didn't see them price one window! Hmm...

Mommy kept trying to keep some shoes on me, and I kept kicking them off. Silly mommy, doesn't she know that shoes aren't my style?

Daddy played in a tournament all day Saturday, but he spent the whole day with me today. We watched football. I LOVE football. Today's a good day because both mommy's and daddy's teams won!

I'm starting to cut my upper teeth today, so I am just as fussy as ever. Oh well...gotta go play with my fingers.

Mommy's Little Angel (again)

So, my 2nd tooth has finally come in and isn't hurting me as much. So, I'm back to that smiley baby that mommy knows and loves! Well, she loved me even when I was crying, too, but it's easier to love me when I giggle!

I have successfully eaten with a spoon. I eat cereal, and started to eat pears! Yummmmy! Next week, mommy is going to introduce me to vegetables.

I'm doing great at practicing my vocal cords. American Idol, here I come!!!

Teething Terror!!!

I am a teething terror...I've been in so much pain that I have been crying non stop. Mommy took a picture of me resting to remind her of how sweet I can be!

Yesterday, I ate some cereal w/o fussing. Actually, I just wanted to bite the spoon. Speaking of biting, Mommy's new pet name for me is piranha!

By the way, Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Darn those Niners!

So...the niners lost, huh? Drats! And...I was sporting my new jersey too! Oh well.

This weekend, Mommy, Hairy Mommy, and I went to Grandma & Grampas house. I was watching Hairy Mommy mow the lawn (lawn mowers are neat). G&G treated us all to a yummy dinner! I had my first avacado (ohh...that was yummy!!!)

Today, I just relaxed watching football. I'm teething (getting my 2nd tooth), so I've had some fussy moments. It doesn't compare to mommy's tantrum during the the 1st quarter of the niners game. Can't wait to wear my Chargers gear tomorrow night w/ daddy.

I'm also doing great sitting up by myself. I'm balancing really well. Next month, mommy and daddy are going to celebrate my 6 mo birthday, and I am going to have my very own booster seat!

BTW-My parents bought me a brand new walker. I barely touch the ground, but it's only a matter of time. And...I also got my new Halloween costume. No pictures until Halloween, but lets just say it's very cool!

Well, I'm gonna go read Go Dog Go w/ mommy now.

Mobile baby!!!

Yup, Mobile...that's me! I can rotate myself (when on tummy time) into a full circle! I am even trying to crawl. I can push myself well with my legs, and did so while mommy was busy typing at work! Now, if I only had the motor skills in my arms, I'd be zooming!

By the way, I've discovered the mirror. The baby in that mirror is so happy...sigh...I wonder what his secret is! He makes me laugh!

Halloween Blues

My mommy is strange. She got me a Halloween costume, but it fit me just right. Then Grandpa put me in a pot while Grandma said I look absolutely delicious! Then they started laughing. I guess I don't get it. So, Mommy took back my costume, and ordered me another one (but not the same thing.) So, you all will have to be surprised. Maybe you can fill me in on the joke...

So anyway, I am officially 5 months old today!!! I am starting to roll front to back with ease, am learning how to drop things (so mommy can pick it up). Did I tell you I am cutting my two bottom teeth? I am keeping mommy up at night (fussing until she comforts me to sleep!) She just smiles and says I'm such a good baby, while I fall back asleep. TGFT (thank goodness for Tylenol!)

I need a vacation from my weekend!

Wow! I did a lot this weekend!!!

Mommy, Grandma, and I all went to the Rib Cook-off! Can we say yum? Mommy really liked the Hawaiian Ribs :o)

We also went to a few stores (where Grandma spoiled me again.) She bought me my Alex Smith jersey (cool name, huh) and a SF Giants outfit! She also bought me a bunch of books for my parents to read to me! How did she know I LOVE books?

Mommy and I headed over to Grandma's house to stay overnight. That was a lot of fun. I tried to crawl to Grandpa. They are great! They make funny sounds to make me laugh.
Grandpa laughed at my new shirt "The Best Thing at Grandma's House is My Grandpa". He cracks me up!

Grandma and I went out galavanting on Sunday (Church, Breakfast, and Toys R Us!!!) with my cousin Amanda. Then Daddy came home. I was so happy to see Daddy! He made me smile big time! He felt my sharp gums, because I am getting a tooth (whatever that is! I just wish they'd leave my mouth alone!)

Today Mommy & Hairy Mommy took me to the Rib Cook-off (again). It was Hairy Mommy's first time. He enjoyed it. Then I fell asleep and we went to a few more stores (where they spoiled me rotten, again).

Mommy is making tortilla soup for daddy. He rewards her with kisses.

Life is good!

Ginger is my Da?

So, today, I was just muttering a bunch of different sounds. Well, I have decided that Ginger (my doggie) is my da.

Mommy and I are going to go to the Rib Cook-off tomorrow. I am going to hook up with my grandma and grandpa. Grandpa bought me a new toy today (pull a leaver and something pops up). I was totally amazed! New toys are fun!!!

Speaking of fun, look at what I've discovered! Feet are my favorite things for the moment (except for ceiling fans, Ginger/da, and new toys!)
