Growing Pains

Mommy wonders when I am going to sleep! I've been waking her up almost every hour at night so I can eat. The doctor says it's just me growing. She says I'm already such a big boy! Geez...grow 2.5 lbs in 10 days, and look what happens. BTW-I weigh 17.7 lbs now!

This weekend is the Rib Cookoff in Reno. Daddy will miss it, but I am looking forward to mommy pushing me around in a stroller and people watching. She said this year, she may actually eat the bbq (not like last year when the smell made her morning sickness worse.) Silly mommy!

Today, I sampled a banana, and actually ate two whole bites! Mommy is slowly trying to have me try new things. I also used my teething ring for the first time without much fuss.

Seeing Double

So, I went to the Dr. today because mommy thought I had another ear infection. Turns out I don't, just my teeth buds hurting.

This last weekend, I went to a party for my cousin Amanda. That girl knows how to Par-tay! Afterwards, I went to my grandpa's crib and he made me laugh for an hour while we watched football. He sure is a crack up!

I've discovered that I'm really ticklish in my belly. I've also discovered my toes. Coincidence?

So, I came back from daddy's and my holiday. Mommy had to work. I was upset with her last Wednesday for spending the entire day without me (I cried when she said hello), but I forgave her eventually. Anyway, mommy's highlight (other than me of course) was winning an award for work...yay Mommy!

Meanwhile, Daddy and I had fun shopping, watching movies, and doing guy things. I lifted my hand to crawl. I'm trying to be mobile. Daddy's also teaching me how to do a high five. Oh by the way, Daddy makes me laugh REALLY hard by giving me raspberries on my tummy!

Well, it's been a long day, so I think I will be fussy for a little while before Mommy puts me to sleep. I sure am glad to be home. Vacations are fun!

Mommy Stress Day

So today Mommy is going crazy trying to prepare for a work event (which is why she won't be helping me blog for the next few days, bummer!)

So, I have decided to help her out by repeating my ppppppbbbbbbbbbfffffffftttttttttttt sounds over and over to support and calm her down.

She really needs to chill (like me). Check out me in my sunglasses. Daddy's so silly!

Master Alexander This weekend was very exciting! I got my first tattoos (an anchor and a flaming heart!) Grandma and Grandpa said that's what mommy and daddy gets for leaving me alone with them. Mommy heard the snickering my grandparents did from outside! Other than that, I learned to bbbbbrrrrrrrbbbbb my lips (I've been doing it all day!) Mommy said she will post my tat's later!

I'm so excited I could wet my diapers (again!) Football has me in a frenzy...the problem is I can't decide what team I want to be. I guess I will just have to like Football and pick a team later (anyone but the Raiders...their fans scare me!) I'm supposed to go to my first game in October. I can't wait!

August 18...Oh what a day!

Yesterday, I had my shots. Today I am feeling really cranky! Mommy is trying to work, but I'm doing a good job distracting her and crying. I tell her life's too interesting to nap, but she doesn't believe me.

The ceiling fan keeps turning. I don't know what entertains me more, the fan or the happy bug toy mommy got me. She also got me a see and say toy to play with hairy mommy (aka daddy).

I am having fun rolling and kicking covers off of me!

Gotta go, Ginger is licking my toes, and I don't like that at all!
