Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy was born on Halloween, so he gets to go trick or treating with me while Mommy passes out candy! I hope he likes my gift. We prepared by carving pumpkins together. I'm a cowboy!

Weekend with Mommy

Grandma and Grandpa had the flu, so Mommy and I spent all day Saturday together. Hope they get better soon! Mommy and I went to a play ground, the library, out to lunch with Daddy, then played a lot at home.

Today, we all went book shopping (I've got new books, yay!) I love to read, but I hate shopping for books. Every chance I get to bring a book to Mommy or Daddy (and some snuggle time) I will do.

I also have a vocabulary of over 40 words!

Daddy bought me new slippers. Here I am modeling them for you. Also, here's a video of me going round and round on my new train. Mommy said please forgive her, she's 7 mo's pregnant, but she says she looks like she's 9 months (whatever that means!)

And, I've got hand and food disease. That's why I've been so cranky. Daddy's going to watch me all week and make sure that I feel better. I love bonding with Daddy!

The days of trains and pumpkins

This weekend was a blast! On Saturday, I went to Grandma and Grandpa's house (you know, my favorite place) to go ride my "choo choo" train. I had so much fun! I look forward to my visits on the weekend (so much that I say "grandpa" over and over on Thursday and Friday!)

Today, Mommy and Daddy took me to my first pumpkin patch. I had fun playing in the pumpkins. Mommy and Daddy had fun trying to catch all the pumpkins I threw. Who knew Mommy had such quick reflexes?!

The pumpkin patch had lots of cars and toys for me to play with. We picked out a pumpkin with a long stem (Daddy said that was really important). Mommy said we are going to take out the gooey insides next Sunday. I can't wait. I love Mommy and Daddy days.

Another Hump Day...

Yum!

I love to eat pretend food! It's not as good as the real thing, but it works. Mommy was pretty sick, so I got to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa (and my new choo choo train!) I had a lot of fun, and was sort of bummed to go home. Daddy took me to a barbecue today, while Mommy recovered. I didn't tell Mommy and Daddy how many cookies I really had at Grandma's house ;)

Happy 1 1/2 birthday to me...

I'm officially 18 months or 1 1/2 years old...

Mommy can't believe how big I am now! I had a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa. Then my cousin Amanda was making me laugh really hard today. I do miss Daddy, though. He'll be home soon, and I can't wait to share some of my 1/2 birthday with him.

I hate cold weather...

Mommy makes me wear these stupid hats and stay inside. Cold weather is no fun. And, it's only Autumn.

We've got grass!

The dogs and I love our new backyard. Well, same backyard, but different look. Daddy put in sod in our backyard so that I can run around without getting too dirty. And, I love grass. It feels so good! I was helping Daddy put grass down.

I'm not feeling very well (upset stomach). So, both mommy and daddy are giving me extra cuddles. I did perk up with my new play center (thanks to daddy's friend Amber!) I also speak Alexanderese. Non=phone, mouf=mouth, joos=juice, and horsh=horse. And, if you ask me where my nose, eyes, or mouth are, I can show you!

I'm a computer junkie

I can't get enough. I love mommy's notebook. I'm going to rewire it as soon as I learn about tools, right Grandpa?

Get well soon Grandma!

My grandma had a small procedure today. I hope she doesn't hurt too much, and they find out why she is sick. I need her around to play with me for a long time. Grandma is so much fun!
