Ornery Baby

I'm a very cranky baby. Well, a toddler has to do what a toddler has to do! I'm teething, and it's making me both tired and ornery.

Oh well.

Mommy loves me anyway! :)

I'm an ostrich

My latest thing is to play ostrich. If' I'm lucky, mommy will flip me over. We did a lot of shopping for my birthday (and, well, mommy went shopping for herself, too. She said she couldn't resist a good sale, whatever that means).

Daddy's schedule changes this week. I'm going to be happy to have both parents off on the weekends.

I've also started saying some words like "Hi", "Roar", and "Book"...I have to be in the mood to talk, though.

Mommy and I were wrestling last night. It was fun. She takes a pillow and tackles me, or will flip me over. She's so silly!

Mommy's sick/Daddy's exhausted part 2

Mommy doesn't feel well still. The Dr. gave her some new medications which makes her loopy and laughing at VH1 videos. Daddy said we have to help out around the house while Mommy doesn't feel well, so I helped him with the dishes.

I was such a good boy yesterday, I slept through the whole night and let Mommy and Daddy rest. Wait until they feel better, then I'll start teething again!

I can put myself to sleep now. I'm such a big boy. Mommy says she can't believe I'm almost a toddler.
Yesterday, Mommy's reflexes were slow. I toddled off the bed and landed on a dog bed. Mommy looked down at me, and I had a big smile on my face, because I wanted to do it again. Mommy wouldn't let me near the edge of the bed again. She's such a fuddy duddy when she's sick.

My Uncle Russ sent Mommy this picture of us today. She says it's my "don't mess with my uncle" look. She's right. He's one bad smurf (with a heart of gold).

This is us after having a few of those green Jello shots. Jello is so wiggly. Bring it on!

Mommy's sick/Daddy's exhausted

So, Mommy is still recovering from that evil Omnicef. I don't feel to well, myself, because I am teething a lot. Mommy can feel them. The upside is I can have otter pops. The down side is well, it hurts!

I've also become a messy eater, ok, when daddy feeds me. He's a power feeder!

I've got fruit roll ups. To quote my furby: Yum!

Oh, yeah, speaking of my furby, I love it. It makes me laugh, and I like to stick my finger in it's mouth. I also like to stick fingers in my mouth by going "brb brbbb brb". Grandpa taught me and I've been doing it all day ever since.

Anyway, I'm exhausted. I'm going through another growth spurt so I've been sleeping off and on today. I'll write later.

Happy St. Patrick's Day...and Happy Birthday Gramma!

Whew, I had an interesting weekend. Daddy and I hung out on Friday night. Mommy wasn't feeling well on Saturday, so Grandma and Grandpa watched me while Mommy napped. I got to see my Uncle Russ and his family! I love my cousins. They are all so nice. Kallie kept trying to get me to pet her, but she wouldn't calm down, and Mommy says don't pet the puppies when they are hyper. See, Mommy, I listen.

Grandpa gave me some green jello which I liked...and it got all over my face. Wow, my first real sugar high! Wonder if I'll get green poop...only time and tomorrow's diaper will tell. I also got to eat some corned beef and cabbage. :)

I'm a growing baby...

I'm a growing boy...sometimes that makes Mommy sad, but for the most part, she's happy with me. I don't know why it makes her sad, I want to grow up big like her and Daddy. Daddy came home today. I like when Daddy's home. He always lifts me in the air and plays the best games with me. Welcome home Daddy. :)

Alexander the Great part deux

Oh, you can't keep a good kid down...

I'm walking everywhere. I won't stop. It's going on three hours. Mommy and Daddy are amazed. Oh, and I've also got a little attitude starting. When Daddy says "no" to me playing in the dog's water bowl, I'll walk away saying "tst...tst.." *Translation: talk to the butt!

Yeah, so I had my dr's appt. on Monday, and well, the dr. says I'm an over acheiver! Well, duh! I'm just naturally that way. I can walk, snap, clap, and eat girl scout cookies. My favorite, though, is eating girl scout cookies (both thin mints and peanut butter clusters). I don't care too much for the shortbread ones, though, I spit them out of my mouth. Mommy thinks it's funny.

I'm 28 1/4 inches, 19.9 lbs, and totally cute :)

Daddy won tickets to the Silver Sox game, and says he's going to take me to my first minor league baseball game w/ him and my Uncle Russ. Hmm...Uncle Russ, Daddy, and Baseball?! What more can a baby ask for?!

Happy 11 Months :)

I'm 11 months old yesterday. Mommy hasn't been feeling well, so she hasn't posted. She'll do pics later tonight. Also, I'm getting my molars, so I'm not happy. At least Daddy's home. I sure did miss him!

Check out my new hat!

I got a hat in the mail today. Whoo hoo! I love the Colts (especially since they won). Mommy and I say thank you to my friend, Irelynn...she's the foxiest baby in a bandana! :)

6 inches of snow last night

I made my first snow angel last night. I didn't really want to, but Mommy and Daddy made me.

I don't like the snow. It's cold and wet. And, not the nice wet, like playing in the dogs' dish wet. It's a cold wet. Blah...

Ginger seems to like the snow. She kept frolicking everywhere. She's such a silly dog. No wonder she makes me laugh.

Daddy is getting to be a good snow driver!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!!

Yesterday was Grandma's birthday...she kept getting phone calls while we were out to lunch. I invited Mommy to go with us (after all, I needed a driver!) Afterwards, Grandma bought me a cookie called "A little bit of trouble". It was yummy. I liked the sprinkles and the fluff. Grandma always knows what I like! Grandpa got her a bunch of cupcakes lit w/ candles just for her birthday (one for each year). That's a lot of cupcakes! He should've been careful, he could start a forest fire!!!

And, Grandma and I were getting ready for St. Patrick's day. Grandma got me some leprechaun antlers that blink. Grandpa told me that I will have an assigned leprechaun to protect me. He will reveal his magical name to me on St. Patrick's day! I can't wait! :)
