I'm a grouchy gus

My mommy and daddy think that I'm grouchy! I've been a bit whiny. If I'm whiny tonight, I'm going to see Dr. White tomorrow.

Fun Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

Party weekend at Grandma's house! Pretty exciting. Grandma and Grandpa behaved themselves, and didn't tattoo me. I was hoping for an asp on my arse.

I was a good boy for Grandma and Grandpa. I had a big smile for Mommy when I saw her on Saturday morning. I do a great military crawl, and am very persistant at getting around when I want to.

I can also pull myself up into a sitting position all by myself. I'm so big and strong!!!

I'm 8 months old...

I'm on top of the world! I just turned 8 months, can sit up on my own after doing the military crawl, and am good at pulling myself up and standing.

Wait until I can really crawl. Aren't mommy and daddy going to be surprised.

I probably won't blog until Daddy gets back from a trip. I'm getting ready to go on my first outing away from Mommy and Daddy tomorrow night. Oh boy! I can't wait to see what they feed me (without Mommy's permission). Don't worry Grandma and Grandpa...I won't tell!

Teething update

I have three new teeth (a total of 7 now). The new teeth came in all at once (yeouch!)

I am also an expert roller now (Mommy and Daddy can't keep up).

Today, I did a military crawl across my sitter's room and down her hall (she was watching and encouraging me!) Last night, I helped Mommy and Daddy celebrate their 2 year anniversary. I was a perfect gentleman at dinner (of course). What would they ever do without me?

Happy Friday (again)

I like Friday's because they mean I am close to the weekend. Mommy and Daddy play with me all day on the weekends. Life is good on the weekends. (((sigh))) Is it the weekend yet?

Top Ten List of Laughs

I thought I would come up with a list of things that really make me smile:

1. Grandpa blowing raspberries at me. He's such a crack up!
2. Watching football with Grandma (I never know what team I'm going to root for!)
3. Uncle Russ when he says "Go Packers!"
4. When my cousins roll on the floor with me!
5. Ginger and her squeeky toy or catching food.
6. When Daddy says "eerp!"
7. Blowing raspberries with a mouthful of pears (extra bonus points for landing on Mommy or Daddy's nose).
8. Mommy's singing (she thinks its the song I'm laughing at...hee hee)
9. Tickles...everywhere!
10. All my family around me.

What an interesting 4 days! I got to watch lots of football (Niners...what happened?!), eat turkey, and roll around. I'm saying da-da all the time. Grandma and Grandpa had fun watching me and teaching me to wave my hand over my mouth.

Daddy shaved. He looks weird. Guess I can't call him hairy mommy anymore (unless you are referring to his eye brows...LOL)

Grandpa showed me his electronics room, and I went CRAZY! Grandma insisted I eat a pretzel (thanks, Grandma...mommy can be such a prude!)

I need a nap from my 4 days off. I can't wait for Christmas. My favorite song is Jingle Bells. Mommy really makes me laugh!

Gobble Gobble!!!

Getting excited for Turkey Day!!!

I love to thump thump thump my heels! I'm getting ready for when I can ride my motorcycle. Grandma and Grandpa have a wooden one for me to practice on in the meantime. Yup, I'm born to be wild!!!

Grandma is always making fun of me. She gave me ears when I was busy watching the Niners win (go team!!!)

I thought I'd also post some pictures for Gramma. She's working hard at recovering. I hope she gets well soon!!!

Picture Day!!!

So, in addition to saying da-da, I am laughing a whole bunch now. Everything is funny to me! I am rolling very well across the floor, and have my top two front teeth in. I'm going to get my picture taken today with my cousins. Just in time for the holidays!

Daddy said gramma wasn't feeling well, so I hope she feels better soon!

While Daddy was away visiting Gramma, I learned to say Da-da. At first, it was over toast. The doctor laughed when I called her da-da. She really didn't know that I was really saying I missed my daddy. I can't fault her, though, she is an adult!

I spent the weekend with my Grandma and Grandpa. They were having fun laughing at me, and making dinosaur sounds. I almost forgot they were adults!

I also amuse myself lying down, kicking wildly, going 'hah, hah, hah'. I think I'm so funny!

I'm rolling across the room now. Soon, I will be crawling and walking! Mommy thinks that I am going to be a handful at Christmas. I don't know what Christmas is, but it sounds fun.

Strong and growing

Standing is so much fun! Mommy and Daddy agree that I have such strong legs! I've discovered legs are good for standing, pushing, rocking, and kicking Ginger away when she tries to give me mooches.

I took my first two crawl steps unassisted yesterday. I don't know how I did it, but I shocked myself. I must try that again!

And, my 2nd top tooth popped through!

Whew, I've been busy. No wonder I am sleeping more!

My new favorite flavor is Apples and Pears together...yum! Vegetable turkey isn't so bad either. Mom says I can have real turkey on Thanksgiving...that they actually have a whole day just for turkey. I can't wait!!!

Happy 7 month old b-day to me!!!

I'm 7 months old today, and boy am I getting big. Mommy says I must weigh 50 lbs now, but I know that I'm just over 20...

Mommy took the day off from work, and we played and played until I had to nap. I'm getting my 2nd top tooth in. It doesn't hurt as much when mommy hugs me.

I have been pushing myself up to stand almost all day (it makes mommy smile). I can stand for a long time now.

I have also been busy making roaring sounds and blowing raspberries.

Daddy made the funniest sound yesterday (eerp). He was making me laugh so hard!

When Autumn leaves start to fall...

I think I like this time of year. The leaves change, I wear outfits with feet, daddy makes a fire, and mommy makes hot cocoa with whipped cream (yummm!)

Grandma and Grandpa had my pictures taken recently. Here's a recent one.

My upper left tooth has come in, and now my right tooth is trying to come in.

I can stand really well now, and am still pulling myself up!

And, my new favorite thing to do is ROAR like a dinosaur!!!

Life is good...

My Grandma and Grandpa are going to watch me today while mommy goes scrapbooking and daddy works. Oh Boy! I can't wait for what trouble we are going to get into!!!

They gave me a bucket full of Halloween candy! I was able to nibble on the paper. Mommy let me taste a hershey's bar, but then she ate it (the indian giver!)

I like the wrapper. Not as much as I like standing on my own, or grabby Buffy's tail!
